Carl Bildt Expresses Disappointment Over Halmstad Airport's Lack of Signage

Carl Bildt flew to his hometown of Halmstad on Tuesday. However, a detail at the airport caught his attention. "I am ashamed," he wrote on X.

Carl Bildt often tweets about his numerous travels around the world and within Sweden.

On Tuesday, he headed to Halmstad, where the former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister was born and raised.

However, Bildt, who has highlighted his hometown in the book title "Hallänning, svensk, europé" from 1991, feels that the airport leaves much to be desired.

Notably, there is a lack of information about the traveler's location.

"I am a bit ashamed that Halmstad – the city I am from and where I have just landed – doesn't even have a sign with its name at the terminal," he wrote.

As photographic evidence, he also shared a photo taken from inside the plane, showing what he considers the anonymous terminal building.
