A car has crashed into a parked vehicle and then a house facade in Hallstahammar municipality. The driver is seriously injured and is believed to have been subjected to a violent crime. Two individuals have been arrested.
The incident occurred around 11 AM, and the police received the alarm as a traffic accident.
– When we arrived on the scene with the ambulance, suspicions arose that a violent crime might have occurred, says police spokesperson Stefan Larsson.
Two individuals were arrested at the scene.
– They remain in custody and will undergo questioning.
The driver has been taken to the hospital by ambulance with injuries considered serious.
The arrested individuals were not in the car that crashed into the parked vehicle and the house.
Seeking Witnesses
Stefan Larsson does not provide details about the driver's injuries but states that there is no information about gunshot wounds.
The police are now working to clarify the sequence of events.
– Therefore, we are very keen to get in touch with any potential witnesses who have seen anything unusual in connection with this: during, before, and after the accident itself.
No one was injured in the parked car and the house.
