Body of Missing Man Found After Näsåker Boat Accident

Maté Hart, 33, was one of the individuals missing after the boat accident near Sollefteå. His body has now been found close to the capsized boat, according to police reports.

At around 7 PM on Sunday, a drowning alert was received from Kilforsen in Näsåker, Sollefteå municipality.

"A body has been found in the water," said Tomas Nyberg, an officer at the police regional command center, to Expressen.

The body belongs to the 33-year-old Hungarian Maté Hart, one of the two missing after the serious accident in the area last Sunday, when a boat plunged over a waterfall.

"The body has been identified as the man in his 30s who was missing after the accident," the police wrote on their website shortly before midnight.

Found Near the Accident Site

The body was found near the site where the boat capsized, and the family has been informed via the embassy.

Maté's brother, Dániel Hart, previously told Expressen that Maté, who usually resides in Hungary, was in Näsåker for work.

"We were only told that my brother was on a boat trip that ended in an accident, and that Máte was missing. That was all," said Dániel.

Onboard the boat, besides Maté, were a minor boy and two other men. The boy was found dead shortly after the accident, while a man in his 40s survived unscathed. The other man, also in his 40s, is still missing.
