Axfood is recalling eggs due to a risk of salmonella contamination.
"As a precautionary measure, Axfood is recalling eggs from Garant after the egg producer discovered salmonella in the barn environment where the eggs were laid," the company stated in a press release.
The discovery was made during a routine inspection, and the following products are being recalled:
