Attempted Bombing at Bandidos Club: Two Convicted

Last winter, an undetonated pressure cooker bomb was found outside the Bandidos club premises. Now, a boy and a man have been convicted.

In mid-December last year, an undetonated pressure cooker bomb was discovered outside the former Bandidos club location in Haninge, south of Stockholm.

The bomb was manufactured by 40-year-old Svante Valdés Reveco, also known as “Svampen.” Previously identified as one of the most dangerous bomb makers in the wave of violence, he was already serving a 14-year prison sentence. He is now convicted of a serious offense against the law on flammable and explosive materials, reports Nyhetsbyrån Siren. The sentence is incorporated into the previously imposed 14 years.

Video Footage Revealed the Incident

The person who placed and attempted to detonate the bomb was a 14-year-old boy. Södertörn District Court finds the boy guilty of attempted public endangerment and a serious offense against the law on flammable and explosive materials. Evidence includes chats on the boy's phone, where a video shows the entire sequence of events—and his failed attempt to detonate the pressure cooker bomb.

Another Person Convicted for Aiding

Two men from Dalarna were charged with aiding attempted serious public endangerment and a serious offense against the law on flammable and explosive materials. According to the prosecutor, they helped transport the bomb. Only one of them was convicted.
