AIK Targets Sandefjord's Star Defender Christopher Cheng

Expressen previously revealed that AIK has made initial contact with Bodø/Glimt regarding a potential signing of Jeppe Kjaer, and efforts are in full swing to finalize the deal.

But this isn't the only potential acquisition from the neighboring country—"Gnaget" also wants to strengthen their defensive line. According to Expressen's sources, from several independent sources, AIK has bid for Christopher Cheng.

Cheng is a 23-year-old left-back playing for Norway's Sandefjord, who has made a splash in the Eliteserien this spring, recording four goals and two assists in eight matches.

Cheng can play both as a left-back and a wing-back and has previously played for Stabaek and Strømmen IF. However, AIK may face competition from several teams.
