Dan Ekborg's Voi scooter ride with a friend ended in a crash and a police report. He allegedly insulted a female motorist, according to a witness.
On Sunday evening, actor Dan Ekborg, 69, was riding a Voi scooter with a friend in Östermalm.
The incident concluded with a crash into a parked car, causing damage.
According to witness reports to Aftonbladet, Ekborg and his friend were confronted by the motorist, leading to a dispute where the actor allegedly insulted the woman.
Police informed the newspaper that they are aware of the incident and have filed a report for insult, hit-and-run, and traffic violations.
– The individuals on the electric scooter were later found by the police after descriptions from witnesses, says Rebecca Landberg from the police media center to the newspaper.
Dan Ekborg told the newspaper that he remembers falling off the scooter but has no memory of a dispute with the woman. He is also unaware of any police report.
Ekborg admits he was intoxicated at the time.
– I don't think I would have gotten on such a scooter otherwise. That's probably the reason it didn't go well, he told Aftonbladet.
